My InterestsI have a multitude of interests, mostly envolving a computer I admit but I do love my computer, I love programming, love graphics design and love to chill out on my 360. Here is a list of my key interests in the world right now.
Personal Life StoryI really enjoy programming, and have done so since a young age. when I first came across a real PC when I was about 5 I was immediately intrigued by how it worked and what made it work. Unlike other children who just used it for what it was I, instead went through countless files and folders looking at system files in a text editor trying to figure out how the system started up and operated. It wasn't long before I got a basic idea of how the system boots an Operating System from the BIOS. Once I got bored with this I started looking at how I could develop my own Software and Computer Games, I started with games as I had many ideas which I wanted to put to practice, The first game I created was using BASIC on a VTEC Computer my parent had brought me, this was a command line game and was very basic, I got very bored with the simplicity of the software and the limits it had and so I was delighted when I got my first Windows Computer! As soon as I got my first Windows computer I began looking at more advanced programming languages like VB, C#, C++ and I built a few games in these languages, then one day I came across some forums called the "GameMaker Community", this community was folling a peice of software called GameMaker. Unlike some of the programming languages I had used before, GameMaker make it incredibly simple to create impressive computer games, but also offered very advanced features for the higher level programmer. I obviously fell in love with this software and created some great games and some software which is still popular today! Between learning desktop programming I was also ver intregued by a thing called the Internet (or the World Wide Web when I was first introduced), and it became very apparent that this idea was brilliant and would help me a whole bunch. Natually I wanted to understand how the internet worked and I did allot of reading into how the internet worked, firstly how pages were intepreted. This is when I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I built several hideous websites with personal information and such, this enabled me to learn more and more until I discovered web standards and started coding websites completely in code rather than relying on a WYSIWYG interface for guidance. Still though I didnt actually understand HOW the internet itself worked so I did even more reading. This is where I began setting up my own server (hosted) and Dev-Server (on my home computer) which ultimately led me to learning a server-side language called PHP which I still sue to this day! I bought a domain name tpvgames.co.uk and setup a website which showed all my personal work, such as software which I began to develop using GameMaker and Visual Basic and later Java and PureBasic. Skip a year or two and I was at College doing a Higher National Diploma, this led me to leave my internet presence for a while as I studied, but once college was over I came back to the internet and released a new site resplace.net along with many new websites which are still in the works.
